The season of Leo is here and it marks a major cosmic confluence. We’ve got four, count ‘em, four retrogrades going at the same time! And yes, Mercury is one of them, so you can get your groans out now. The rest of the foursome is filled in by Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto. As we always say with retrogrades, they’re a great time to look within yourself, revisit the past, and listen to your heart. Now might be a great time to look back on 2025 as a whole, now that we’re over the halfway point. What have you accomplished this year? What have you been meaning to deal with all year long but haven’t gotten around to yet, because reasons?
Yes, yes, we know what you’re thinking, “Introspection?! Where’s my steamy summer romance? I demand restitution!” We have some news for you on that front. The lovers, Venus and Mars, will square each other as soon as Leo season kicks off. Here on Earth, the sheer sexual tension of it all will have us sweating through our sundress. This clash will be a fiery one, with heated arguments aplenty, but from pain will also come pleasure—and the temperature will be similarly sizzling!

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Your sign is a bit of a bus station at the moment, Aries, as two of our retrograde planets will be passing through during Leo season: Saturn and Neptune. Since retrogrades encourage you to look within, you’ll be doing just that with regards to the areas of your life those planets rule over, basically careers, relationships, and dreams (yup, turns out to be a lot of the big stuff!). You will also be feeling the effects of the all-important Mercury retrograde in Leo, so double check the name in your contact list before you hit send! Otherwise, you run the risk of re-initiating an old relationship with an ex you probably should’ve deleted from your phone, but didn’t. Even if you did want to rekindle, y’know, hypothetically ;), now would be the most awkward cringey time to do so. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Your Date with Destiny
Like all good Tauruses, you’re ruled by Venus and her famous power of love. But what’s this? It looks like Venus has her finger on the button and this button just so happens to be labeled “Nodes of Destiny.” Sounds important, yeah? Seems like a thing Indiana Jones would be trying to find. But no, your north and south lunar nodes represent your future and past, respectively. When Venus is the one to switch ‘em on, like what’s happening in late July, your relationships and desires will be under the microscope—you’ll be forced to reexamine past choices in order to decide how you want your love life to go from here on out. It’ll be a bumpy ride, but you’ll get used to it. That’s because the ramifications of the next few weeks will be positively earth-shaking.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini, you have a good thing going in your social life—supportive friends, a stable and satisfying romantic life, stuff like that. It would be a shame if someone came around and started jumbling all the pieces around, effectively plunging your life into chaos, wouldn’t it? Well, clear your schedule, because that’s exactly what Leo season has headed your way. Friends become lovers, lovers become friends, it’s about to become a very messy, confusing, but also kinda fun time to be alive. And if you were thinking to yourself, “Oh, that’s weird, but I’m sure as long as I can communicate my intentions clearly with my friend/more than friend, everything will work out just fine,” we’ve got three words for you and they rhyme with “Bercury’s bin betrograde.” We warned you in Cancer season about the disruption that Uranus entering your sign would reap, so we can’t be all that surprised.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Love Is on the Menu, Cancer
While there’s a lot going on for you career-wise right now (major work projects are likely to be abandoned or heavily revised in the days to come, it’s a whole thing, gah), the headline of your Leo season has got to be the future of your love life. And that’s because you’ve got the hottest houseguest of them all, Venus, entering your sign. “Love is in the air” will be a bit of an understatement, especially as you get into August (specifically the spicy weekend of August 9-10, seriously, mark your calendar), so go ahead and plan that late summer date night, it just might be your best night for love all year long! If you’re single/looking to mingle, keep your DMs open during this same timeframe, because the potential for making a new connection is off the charts! Is that message direct enough for you?
Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Happy birthday, Leo! However many candles you’re blowing out this year, it’s a good look on you. And it’s not just us that’re saying so. You’re going through a transformation that kicks off with the July 23 new moon that’ll affect not just your looks but also your relationships and even the way you move through the world. Speaking of those relationships, both your personal and work connections are going to develop and become stronger than ever before during Leo season. If you were looking for a flashier birthday present than being hot and having besties: 1. Have you ever heard of a thing called gratitude? 2. Just kidding, we got you something sparkly anyway—and get excited, because it’s a really big rock. In fact, it’s an asteroid. Pallas, an asteroid named for a Greek Titan, is zooming through your sign and he’s bringing you a whole lot more than space dust. Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

OK, Virgo, we hate to be the voice of reason here—we’re really more into the fun and frivolity—but this is the deal—it might be time to tighten the old purse strings. Far be it from a jewelry brand to tell you not to spend money (hey, these things are really just suggestions, go ahead, shop your heart out!), if you want to place the blame somewhere, address your concerns to Mars. The red planet is trucking through your second house (casa de moolah) and inspiring you to take action towards saving for your future. Meanwhile, that Mercury retrograde is going to activate your 12th house (the house of your subconscious mind), and reveal long hidden dreams and memories that could prove inspiring. Also free, which jibes with your new financial guidelines!
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Libra, Do Your Thing
Since you’re the eternally even-keeled one, you might weather this rampage of retrogrades better than most, Libra. When Mercury’s miscommunications threaten to mess up your day, you stay patient, keep a cool head, and take a step back when needed, at least until the heat dies down. The only complication is a powerful planetary influence that isn’t exactly famous for being a shrinking violet. It’s Mars, the energetic planet of action! Mars is moving through your sign which will fill you with the urge to make big bold moves in your personal life and around the office. Here’s the problem: Mars has you fired up but Mercury’s retrograde is turning you into a living blooper reel. Luckily, there are only a few days when Mars’ transit and Mercury’s retrograde will overlap, August 6-11. If you can lay low until the 12th, you’ll be able to keep it all in balance, as is your Libra way.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

The universe has a great gift for Scorpios everywhere this Leo season, a gift that any adult person would love to receive in an ever-exhausting world that’s constantly demanding your attention and pushing you beyond your limits more and more with each passing day. It is the gift… of a nap. The universe has been talking and everyone agrees, you really could use a bit of shuteye. Maybe a lot of it, even. So if you’ve got some vacation time saved up, take it. As you hibernate, rest assured that you’ll awake even hotter than usual (that’s why they call it beauty sleep, duh) and with the answers to questions that’ve been bothering you for ages locked and loaded. You worked your butt off during Cancer season, now it’s over, it’s time to have a little fun. Leo season is all about you getting out there and having a killer time with your friends and that special someone of yours. Now that we bring it up, this is actually a pretty pivotal time in your romantic life—especially July 23, when Venus and Mars team up to switch on your lunar nodes. As far as Wednesdays go, it’s not too shabby. If you haven’t met your soulmate yet, July 23 would be a damn good time for them to materialize. Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

This is the perfect time to focus on your work and finances. When it comes to the business world, you’re going to have to be crazy careful due to Mercury retrograding its way through your 8th house, the one that’s dedicated to revenue, inheritance, joint assets, debts, that sort of stuff. It’s like doing your taxes all over again (ugh)! While the messenger planet is busy doing the backstroke through your QuickBooks, you’ll have to put in extra hours to ensure that every check, contract, invoice, etc. that crosses your desk is 100% accurate. Luckily for you, Mars moving through Libra will give you the extra juice needed to not fall asleep in your spreadsheets (what, no pillow?). Hang in there, because once Mercury gets its head on straight, you’ll have some of the most incredibly productive work weeks, like, ever! Employee of the month, here you come!
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

OK, Aquarius, it’s the same old story, Mercury will be doing its retrograde thing all over your seventh house, the one that’s in charge of marriage, romantic relationships, and business partnerships. This means you’re in for some deep reflection in all those parts of your life. And yeah, “deep reflection” isn’t exactly much to go on, so let’s skip the meditation sesh and start talking about results. All your excessive pondering will pay off big time at work, where you’re poised to dominate—scoring new clients and major projects with the greatest of ease. On the personal front, you’ll reach the inevitable conclusion that a major makeover is in order. Not that you weren’t a smokeshow already, but the change will do you good. The theme of your new look? UNSTOPPABLE DESTROYER. A Mars-in-Libra power boost will give you all the gumption you need to pull it off. And an accessory wouldn’t hurt either!
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Let’s see, how exactly will Mercury’s retrograde rain on your parade? The red planet is moonwalking its way through your sixth house.
